This summer, ignite your child's curiosity with Sunshine Readers S.T.E.A.M. Camp—a dynamic, interactive program designed to make learning an adventure! Perfect for young readers and budding innovators, this four-week camp blends literature and hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) activities to create an unforgettable educational experience.
Camp Details
📅 Dates:
Week 1: June 9 - June 13
Week 2: June 23 - June 27
Week 3: July 7 - July 11
Week 4: July 14 - July 18
📍 Location: The Bullard Room, 253 East Stuart Avenue, Lake Wales, FL
🕗 Session Times:
Morning Session: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Afternoon Session: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
👦🏽👧🏽 Who Can Join? Each session accommodates only 12 students (ages 8-14), ensuring a small, interactive environment for personalized learning.
💰 Cost: $75 per child per week
What to Expect?
Each week, campers will explore five different books from the Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) list, engaging in daily STEAM activities inspired by the themes of each book.
From science experiments and creative arts projects to hands-on engineering challenges and literary adventures, campers will build problem-solving skills, boost creativity, and foster a lifelong love of learning—all while having tons of fun!
